Based on the life of King Henry V (with plenty of embellishments we're sure), this is a great historical film to sink your teeth into! Navigating palace politics and an ever-looming war with France, Henry must put aside his past and become the King he was meant to be. Timothee Chalamet stars as the wayward prince Hal, who reluctantly takes the English throne following the death of his father, becoming King Henry V. Actress Sharon Tate, who was murdered by members of the Manson family in 1969, is depicted by Margot Robbie and Charles Manson, who was apprehended in the early 1970's, is played by Damon Herriman. Although the murder case doesn't form the central plot of the film, many of those involve appear in the film. Quentin Tarantino's 2019 epic film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has many embellishments and dramatic quirks, but one of the underlying stories in the film touches on the tragic and harrowing true story of the Manson murders.
Kristen Scott Thomas, Lily James and Stephen Dillane also star. The film depicts Britain's fight for survival at the height of Nazi invasion, and focuses on the early days of Churchill's government as he navigated the second World War and the War Cabinet Crises. Gary Oldman won Best Actor at the Oscar's for his portrayal as Winston Churchill in the World War II epic. The picture was nominated for six Academy Awards, so it's definitely worth a watch.

This film, released on Netflix last year, tells the gripping true story of a string of unsolved murders that took place on Long Island back in 2010.
